Do you need overall help with your Maths or perhaps you would like to talk through your understanding of a particular topic?
Are you repeating Mathematics exams?
Perhaps you don't study any Maths topics but find other topics (eg. Economics) difficult because you lack some basic understanding in mathematics.
The Mathematics Support Centre (MSC) offers support in mathematics to students from all programmes in UCD. Here you will find a welcoming environment in a comfortable room with plenty of maths resources including textbooks, notes and practice sheets and most importantly, a team of friendly and experienced tutors. Support is given through one-on-one and small group tuition on a drop in basis during our opening hours. There is no need to make an appointment in advance.
Access and first year students are welcome to attend any of our opening times, however there are also some sessions run exclusively for these students. For those at more advanced levels the best times to attend will be indicated on our timetable.(Click Timetable on RHS of this page)
So for help with your maths, drop in to the MSC during its opening hours, where the tutors will give you a hand.
This service is free to all students in UCD. You may come as often as you wish.
